-
Does using the RPNZ iPhone Application consume one of the "sessions" purchased with my RPNZ subscription? No
it doesn’t. Sessions refers to the number of concurrent users who can
access RPNZ via a web browser. We do not enforce session management on
mobile devices.
-
How do I log out?You
don't have to. Once you have authenticated once, we don't ask you again
(unless you change your password). Because your RPNZ iPhone Application
connection is not consuming one of your RPNZ purchased sessions, we
keep you logged in. It makes the RPNZ iPhone Application easier, faster
and smarter to use.
-
Can I share my login credentials with other users in the office who have iPhones?
- Absolutely
not. If you share your login and then attempt to use the RPNZ iPhone
Application, you will be forced to reinstall the application.
- Do
not share your login. It is a breach of the RPNZ terms and conditions
and is just not a good idea anyway (for security reasons).
- If
other users in your office would like to use the RPNZ iPhone
Application, then they should enter their username and password login
credentials into their own iPhone, not yours. If they don't have login
credentials yet, then please make contact with your account
administrator who can create logins using the new RPNZ property system
interface. Ask your Administrator to login to RPNZ located at
http://www.rpnz.co.nz. They should then select the "Admin" link, then select "Manage users" and follow the on screen instructions.
- Put
simply, if you share your login credentials, you will be forced to
reinstall the application. This will then disable the other user sharing
your account.
-
I
am trying to use the RPNZ iPhone Application but I keep receiving this
message that I need to reinstall the application from the App Store.
Why?
- We
have detected that your account credentials have been authenticated
from two or more mobile devices (You have shared your login).
- Don’t
share your login. It is a breach of the RPNZ terms and conditions and
is just not a good idea anyway (for security reasons).
-
Why can't I see commercial and other properties in the RPNZ iPhone Application?
- At present the RPNZ iPhone Application searches for residential property information (houses and apartments).
- We
have the ability to add searching by other property types, but have
chosen not to for now, due to lack of demand for this feature. If
searching by other property types is important to you, then please let
us know by using the "Send us your feedback" button on the home menu.
-
Why can't I see all the listings, recent sales or historical sales in the area?
- You may have filters activated which are excluding some property results from displaying.
- When
viewing your results in Map View, List View or Camera View we add a
blue warning bar atop the screen to notify you that your search results
are being filtered. To modify or remove your filters select the “Filter”
button located in the top right hand corner of the screen and then make
the appropriate filter changes necessary to display more search
results.
